This will be great with a Point to point straight lines, squares and shapes ( as in Paint)1 vote
When not in use, the tool bar used to auto hide (scroll up and hide - then triggered if I moved my mouse to the top of the screeen). Now, the tool bar is always visible until it is exited and relaunched from the task tray. Please fix.1 vote

I'm a big fan of the S Note and S Pen from Samsung. One of the big advantages the S Pen software has is the "Smart Selection" and "Lasso" screen snap where you can select an area and the software only captures the main image. Say you want to get just someone's head, on the S Pen app, you can do a smart selection, draw a box or freehand" selection, then the software narrows the selection down even more to just the main image in the snip. From there you can edit the snip even more, adding or subtracting parts of the image.
Just copy the S Pen!!! I really would love this for my desktop!

Add a "story mode" that would allow you to select multiple images from the library into a single "story" which you can then share in a single action to OneNote, PowerPoint, PDF, or Print. I should be able to set the order of images, apply size constraints to all images at once (for example, resize all images to 6" width), apply a Title for the entire story.1 vote
I am using a multi monitor.
1920+1920+1920+4096 x 2160 ＝This condition is not a problem.
1920+1920+4096 x 2160+1080 ＝Snip stops with an error.
I've have uninstalled and re-installed the app but get the same result.
I'm sorry, my English is not good.
Would you do me a favor? I need some help.1 vote
I hope this is still in active development and will ship broadly30 votes
Could develop into a very useful tool, but....
listen to community: without print function completely useless !!!!!
Library entry gives good overview to find snips, but then: dead end - look at it in beauty,---frustration: you can't do anything with it:
It's like I mentionned above completely useless without further commands like 'print' 'export function', 'share', 'work with it on drawboard', 'export as PDF file', 'copy and paste' and other features as proposed by the community
please hurry up - other app developpers will seize the opportunity and respond to the need.3 votes
option to capture entire desktop (and just active window) instead of having to drag a selection every time1 vote
Sonst klasse Tool. Aber leider hängt es sich häufig auf. Da hilft dann nur Rechner Neustart. Bitte nacharbeiten.1 vote

Please add the ability to capture the windows start menu.
Currently on Win10 when you try to snip a section of the Windows start menu it does not seem to recognize the start menu being open.
Instead I have to do a full screen snip and then open in paint to make a smaller selection.1 vote
I miss the opportunity to ink white over information that I want to delete from my snip (that very often have a white background).1 vote
The Snip has the ability of a keyboard shortcut but the Camera and Whiteboard won't allow one to be set. I would use these regularly if they were available,1 vote
How is it possible that Microsoft did not integrate this employee project as a part of Windows tools, and increases its functionalities ?
Windows product Managers are proud of the actual primitive snipping tool ?
The last update ends on november 2015, so this product is over with the initial conceptors.

I love how in OneNote for example you can right-click the taskbar icon and immediately select "take screen clip" or "new quicknote" right from the jumplist.
I think this functionality will benefit Snip A LOT, since sometimes when you're using a mouse/pen you don't wanna have to reach for your keyboard for shortcuts.1 vote
